Lorien’s UK leading Investment banking client are currently looking for a highly skilled FP&A Analyst to join the team on an initial 6-month contract.

Job Description

• Partner with Divisional finance teams to review and analyse financial results and key KPIs
• Lead the preparation of monthly reporting across Group FP&A
• Conduct Group-level financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
• Support the FP&A Manager in reviewing and challenging budgets, forecasts, and long-term strategic plans
• Translate complex financial data into clear commentary and actionable insights for the CFO, investor relations, and wider management
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency of financial planning, data analysis, and reporting, including M&A integration

Qualifications

• Recognised professional accounting qualification (or working towards) eg, ACA, ACCA, or CIMA
• Strong IT literacy, particularly advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Excellent influencing skills, including the ability to present to senior stakeholders
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and produce high-quality outputs to tight deadlines
• Strong collaboration skills to support team members across Group FP&A
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
