We’re looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join a global law firm on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a key technical role focused on supporting and evolving their global IT infrastructure across networking, cloud, and on-prem systems. You’ll also contribute to projects, emergency response, and ongoing infrastructure improvements.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Managing and supporting networking and infrastructure systems including Servers, storage, Firewalls, Wi-Fi, LAN/WAN, and unified comms.

• Administering tools and platforms like Windows Server, Azure, Entra ID, Intune, VMWare, NetApp, and more.

• Monitoring system health, applying patches, and managing vulnerabilities using tools like Rapid7 and SolarWinds.

• Troubleshooting incidents, owning resolution through to completion, and following ITIL-aligned processes.

• Collaborating with our IT Security and Service Delivery teams to ensure robust, user-friendly infrastructure solutions.

• Supporting project rollouts and upgrades – from planning through implementation.

You’ll bring:

• Strong hands-on knowledge across cloud (Azure, M365) and on-prem (VMWare, NetApp, Windows Server) environments.

• Experience managing networking technologies – ideally including Juniper, Cato, VLANs, VPNs, etc.

• Familiarity with tools like PowerShell, SolarWinds, and enterprise backup solutions (Rubrik/Commvault).

• A team-player attitude, willingness to support others, and a flexible mindset to cover occasional out-of-hours work.

• Ideally, exposure to ITIL and ISO 27001 environments.
