Contract Technical Project Manager (Security & Cloud Infrastructure)

Location: Hybrid (London-based)

Contract: 6 months (with potential for extension)

Natcap is a fast-growing nature tech startup building the data infrastructure for a nature-positive economy. We’re scaling fast-and we’re looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead a critical company-wide infrastructure and security initiative.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for planning and delivering a high-impact infrastructure improvement programme. Working closely with our CTO, CISO, and cross-functional teams, you’ll drive key projects that strengthen our cloud setup, elevate our security posture, and support our journey toward ISO 27001 certification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead delivery of a cross-functional infrastructure and security programme
• Manage project plans, risk registers, timelines, and budgets
• Align infrastructure and product work with enterprise-grade security standards
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, IT, and Policy stakeholders
• Draft and implement security procedures and policies
• Support audit readiness and ISO 27001 compliance

What You Bring:

• Proven track record delivering infrastructure/security projects in fast-paced environments
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and tools like Jira
• Knowledge of ISO 27001 and/or SOC 2 certification processes
• Excellent communication skills, including reporting to senior stakeholders
• A collaborative, problem-solving mindset

Nice to Have:

• Direct experience supporting ISO 27001 certification
• Familiarity with internal IT systems and Google Workspace
• Policy writing or compliance documentation experience
