• Location: Aldgate London, E1 8EU
• Hours: Monday – Friday 9:00am – 17:30pm (Hybrid)
• Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 plus Company Benefits

Your new role

We are seeking a Technical Trainer to take lead in the development of our award-winning network operations centre. You will play a crucial role in developing and managing training road maps, bridging development gaps and understanding upcoming requirements to elevate the team.

• Designing and presenting hands-on training lectures, training videos and briefings on (but no limited to) the following topics:
• Basic Computer Networking and troubleshooting.
• LAN administration, configuration and maintenance of network devices such as:
• Switches
• Routers
• Network access control servers
• Wireless Networks / access points
• Routing. Configuration and troubleshooting of both static and dynamic routing protocols.
• Firewall administration, configuration and troubleshooting:
• Security best practices
• Security and NAT policies
• VPNs remote access and site-to-site
• System training
• Processes

What you’ll need to succeed

• Previous experience producing training courses and materials.
• Previous experience conducting training sessions with small to medium size groups.
• Strong experience with ITSM and CMDB tools.
• Strong experience working with Fortinet products especially FortiGate firewalls.
• Solid understanding of network security principles and best practices, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Demonstrable knowledge at CCNP (ENT/DC/SP/SEC) or JNCIP-ENT level
• In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, technologies, and architectures (e.g., TCP/IP, VLANs, STP, BGP, OSPF).
• Hands-on experience with network equipment from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper,and Palo Alto Networks
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on driving results and continuous improvement.
