Job Title: Arista Delivery Engineer ( Contract – Inside IR35)

Day Rate : £400 (Inside IR35)
Client : Tier- 1 Financial Services Institution

Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Arista Delivery Engineer to support the build- out and delivery of network infrastructure solutions within a highly regulated financial services environment . The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Arista technologies , including CloudVision, Routing & Switching ( R& S) , BGP, EVPN, and multicast, as well as a solid grasp of automation and Firewalls.

This is a delivery- focused engineering role where you will play a critical part in scaling out and automating next- gen data center networks to support mission- critical financial trading applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, deployment, and support of Arista- based network infrastructure across data centers and critical environments.

• Implement and manage CloudVision Portal ( CVP) for centralized network automation and telemetry.

• Configure and troubleshoot BGP, EVPN/VXLAN , and multicast routing to support real- time data distribution and low- latency services.

• Collaborate with internal network architecture and operations teams to deliver against detailed project plans.

• Assist in developing network automation scripts and frameworks ( Python, Ansible) to enhance deployment efficiency.

• Work alongside Firewall and security teams to ensure secure perimeter and segmentation design, particularly with Arista and third- party Firewall integrations.

• Provide documentation, knowledge transfer, and support during UAT and production rollouts.

• Ensure compliance with financial services security and operational standards.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands- on experience with Arista Networks , especially EOS and CloudVision.

• Deep knowledge of routing protocols – BGP, OSPF, and advanced L2/L3 technologies including EVPN and VXLAN .

• Experience with multicast configuration and optimization in low- latency environments.

• Familiarity with network automation tools ( e. g., Ansible, Python) is highly desirable.

• Exposure to Firewalls ( Fortinet, Palo Alto, etc.) and their integration with switching infrastructure.

• Experience working in a financial services or similarly regulated industry preferred.

• Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to operate under pressure in dynamic trading environments.

• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Arista certifications ( e. g., ACE- A , ACE- P , or ACE- D )

• Experience with data center migrations , NTP/PTP synchronization , and low- latency trading infrastructure

• Familiarity with CI/CD integration for network infrastructure
